Coconut update, April

Coconut palm

The coconuts have grown quite a bit since I first showed them to you in October. Let's see...it's been five months. I have no idea how to tell when they are ready − do they fall on your head?

I hope El Jefe knows.

What is this bug?

Honduran bug

Anybody know what this is? It's really pretty. I haven't seen one like this before. The body is about 1/2 inch long (13 mm.) and the wingspan is about an inch (27 mm.). Found it dead on the floor. I didn't kill it.



I spent so much time commenting on the melon thing and going way off topic that this is all that I have time for today. Sorry!
